Go into the Settings, and change difficulty within the Gameplay section. At any point in the game you can change the difficulty, so long as you are not in combat. There are absolutely zero achievements tied to difficulty, so if you find yourself struggling against a certain enemy you can freely tune the difficulty down.
If that's the case, replace the batteries and try again. 2. Re-sync the Controller. If the batteries aren’t the issue, try re-syncing the controller with the console. This can be done by pressing the sync button on the controller and the console at the same time. Wait a few seconds and try using the controller again.
