Connect your controller to the console with a USB cable. Press and hold the PS button which will lead to re-syncing the controller at startup. Optionally, try using the SHARE button simultaneously. If re-syncing the controller can’t fix PS4 controller orange light of death then continue to the next solution.
I'm using a PS4 controller, but also tried PS5 and neither would work with the Plus app. The would work in the app itself when in controller mode, but when you open a game, it would not work inside the game itself. Oddly the PS button still worked to pause and close the game, but I could not get any input to work inside the game (tried several).
Dualshock 4 Windows also allows players to move their cursor on-screen while typing with its motion control. With DS4Windows, you can use and connect a PlayStation controller (DualShock 3/4 and DualSense 5) to a Windows PC. You can customize your gamepad and enjoy less input latency with a PS3/PS4/PS5 Controller.
Options. Hi, You need to connect the controller to the PS4 first with a micro USB cable, then press the PS button. (You didnt say whether you were using a cable or not) If that doesnt work then try a different cable: I sometimes find that not all cables work for some reason even if they charge the controller. Hope this helps, That Tech Enthusiast.
